Every dog guardian and pet professional should know...
Learn how to maximise your adult dog’s function and quality of movement into old age and address the cause of niggling dysfunction before it becomes pathological.
In this class you will learn:
- how to identify dysfunction and what to do about it
- how to find a qualified practitioner to assess for the cause and treat effectively and safely
- how different techniques and tools work and what they are good for treating
- the physiology of chronic pain and how to treat the cause rather than just manage the symptoms
ABOUT MEAGAN LAMMING
Meagan is an AHPRA registered physiotherapist with 23 years experience, with qualifications in both human and animal physiotherapy, and is immediate past National Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Animal Physio Group. She is passionate about helping animals of all species receive allied healthcare equivalent to that of the human world.
Meagan is a manual therapist with a deep respect for the body’s innate ability to heal and know what it needs to facilitate healing. She assesses all soft tissue systems, identifies what is dysfunctional and in what way, and treats using targeted techniques for each dysfunction. She works with whole body systems and prefers techniques that are gentle and indirect like craniosacral and counterstrain, but has all of the traditional techniques, including massage, mobilisations, splinting, taping, laser, and ultrasound up her sleeve if needed. Meagan combines treatment with a progressed home program to create functional change in the body.
